APIGEE DEVELOPER | BGC, TAGUIG

Work Setup: Daily Onsite – BGC, Taguig

Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule

Are you an experienced Apigee Developer looking for an opportunity to work on enterprise-level API solutions and cloud technologies?

We are looking for a skilled Apigee Developer who can design, develop, maintain, and optimize secure and scalable API solutions using the Google Cloud Apigee platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, maintain, and support Apigee Edge and API management solutions.

- Develop API proxies, features, patches, and bug fixes as required.

- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, customer, and service-related issues.

- Perform L2 engineering support for platform data components.

- Manage and maintain components including Cassandra, Zookeeper, Consul, and PostgreSQL.

- Support database tuning, upgrades, updates, and platform releases.

- Collaborate with engineering, support, release, and provisioning teams.

- Support cloud product releases and periodic platform upgrades.

- Assist with development, operations, and support of monetization platforms.

- Work with teams to reduce technical debt and improve platform performance.

- Support auxiliary components such as Edge Microgateway and Extensions.

- Provide technical support and solutions for Apigee Edge and OPDK environments.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- At least 2 years of professional Apigee development experience.

- Strong experience with Apigee Edge and API Gateway management.

- Proficiency in RESTful API design, Node.js, and JavaScript.

- Knowledge of API security protocols and access control mechanisms.

- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Maven or similar CI/CD tools.

- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Willingness to work daily onsite in BGC, Taguig.

- Amenable to a shifting schedule.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

- Apigee certification or Google Cloud API Management specialization.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh.

- Experience supporting enterprise-scale API platforms and cloud environments.

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

- Applicants must currently be based in the Philippines.

- Must have the legal right to live and work in the Philippines.

- Applicants must not have an active or recent application with the client.

- Applicants should not be currently or recently employed by the client.
