Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to support and maintain critical business applications. In this role, you will troubleshoot system issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the stability and performance of enterprise applications running in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for application support activities.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple components of critical business systems.
* Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system-related challenges.
* Support team decision-making and contribute to key technical discussions.
* Monitor system performance and ensure the smooth operation of business applications.
* Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify issues.
* Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to improve application reliability.
Qualifications
Non-Negotiable Requirements
* Must currently reside in the Philippines and already have the legal right to live and work in the country.
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
* Strong knowledge of Application Support principles and best practices.
* Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
* Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
* Ability to interpret system logs and performance metrics.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies.
