Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Risk Officer to oversee risk management, operational controls, compliance, and information security across multiple lines of business. The ideal candidate has a strong background in risk management within the BPO or Shared Services industry, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience with operational and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, monitor, and report operational and systemic risks, ensuring timely execution of corrective and remedial action plans.

• Oversee the consistent implementation of risk management controls across multiple lines of business.

• Monitor compliance with contractual risk requirements and ensure operational effectiveness.

• Investigate security incidents and support Ombuds-related investigations when necessary.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, particularly risk and compliance teams.

• Serve as a key resource for the risk management framework, business risk profile, and risk-related decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 requirements and other applicable security standards for existing and proposed business accounts.

• Maintain a strong understanding of data privacy, information security, and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS, SSAE, and HIPAA.

• Participate in location-level crisis management discussions, providing risk updates and highlighting potential business impacts.

• Partner with leadership to implement strategic risk management initiatives and improve operational efficiency.

• Continuously develop risk management knowledge and support improvements in policies, procedures, and controls.

Qualifications

• College graduate in any relevant field.

• At least 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Risk Officer within the BPO or Shared Services industry.

• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, internal controls, and operational risk assessment.

• Excellent influencing, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Good understanding of operations management and quality assurance processes.

• Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.

• Prior experience in compliance, information security, or related activities is an advantage.

• Exposure to the Voice or Collections line of business is a plus.

• Willing to work 100% onsite in Eton Centris, Quezon City, on a shifting schedule.

• Available to start as soon as possible.
