Job Title: Monitoring, Observability, and Event Management Architect

Role Overview

Work Setup: Hybrid (Quezon City)
Work Shift: Night Shift
Salary Range: ₱100,000 – ₱108,000 / month
Start Date: ASAP
Headcount: 1

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management solutions across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS platforms.
Domain Collaboration: Partner closely with MEMD design leads across key domains (Event Management, Function Apps, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, etc.).
Standards & Compliance: Establish and sustain observability and monitoring standards aligned with overall enterprise architecture and IT governance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business units to capture technical and business requirements, delivering scalable and cost-effective monitoring strategies.
Operations & Lifecycle Management: Execute day-to-day design activities and plan for software, telemetry, and automation upgrades.
Innovation & R&D: Drive innovation by leading Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives and implementing automation strategies.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of technical experience in IT monitoring and related roles.
- 3+ years in an IT Architecture role with a deep understanding of monitoring and Application Performance Management (APM).
Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITOM Event Management (alert integration, SNOW ITOM AIOps implementation).
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Azure Cloud Services, Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Telemetry, and synthetic transactions.
- Solid grounding in DevOps practices and scripting/programming languages: Python, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with infrastructure and network architecture basics (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI).
- Strategic vision and hands-on awareness of AIOps implementations.
Soft Skills:
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaborative skills.

ITSM & ITOM: ServiceNow ITOM Event Management, AIOps, Alert Integration
Cloud & Telemetry: Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics (KQL), Azure Data Lake, Azure Fabric, Azure Function Apps
Tooling & Platforms: Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Riverbed, Nobl9
