Job Title : QA – Automation Developer (Playwright) & Performance Tester (JMeter)

Job Summary

CGI is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright E2E test automation and Apache JMeter performance testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling automated end-to-end testing frameworks, executing performance test scenarios, managing test cycles, analyzing system behavior, and identifying defects and infrastructure bottlenecks.

Mandatory Qualifications

4–8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Test Automation.
Hands-on experience building E2E testing frameworks using Playwright.
Strong knowledge of Playwright modern locators, auto-waiting, async/await patterns, and Page Object Model (POM).
Extensive hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
Strong proficiency in JMeter parameterization, assertions, distributed testing, and correlation of dynamic values.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with Shell Scripting.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and scale E2E automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
Design and execute performance testing scenarios using Apache JMeter.
Manage software testing cycles and related QA activities.
Analyze user stories and evaluate technical feasibility from a testing perspective.
Identify, document, and track system defects.
Analyze load behavior and performance metrics.
Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and performance-related issues.
Collaborate with relevant technical and project teams to support quality and performance objectives.
