Revenue Accounting Manager | ASC 606 & US GAAP | Technical Accounting

1. Lead month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including journal entries, revenue transactions, write-offs, loss reserves, allowances, and related accounting estimates.

2. Provide technical guidance on US GAAP, ASC 606, revenue recognition policies, contract terms, and complex revenue arrangements.

3. Prepare and review revenue reports, financial statements, variance analysis, account reconciliations, and management reporting.

4. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure SOX compliance, strengthen financial controls, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.

5. Lead and develop teams, monitor KPIs and SLAs, manage performance improvement initiatives, and drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills : 

1. Strong expertise in technical revenue accounting, revenue recognition, ASC 606, and US GAAP.

2. Proven experience managing month-end and quarter-end close, revenue reporting, and account reconciliations.

3. Strong leadership and team management experience, including performance reviews and employee development.

4. Knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, audit requirements, financial governance, and complex contractual arrangements.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and process improvement skills.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion or other ERP applications.

• Knowledge of SQL queries for data analysis and manipulation.

• Experience with Power BI, dashboards, reporting tools, and financial process automation.

• Familiarity with business transformation and scalable revenue accounting solutions.

Qualifications : 

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in technical revenue accounting and revenue accounting.

• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.

• Experience managing revenue accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support.
