Responsible for administering, monitoring, and maintaining SAP HANA database environments to ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability. The role involves database installation and configuration, system monitoring, backup and recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolving database-related issues. The administrator will manage users, roles, permissions, and security controls while ensuring database systems comply with operational and security requirements. The role also includes monitoring database health, identifying performance bottlenecks, supporting upgrades and patches, and maintaining system stability across development, testing, and production environments. The candidate will work closely with SAP application teams, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders to support business-critical systems and ensure smooth day-to-day database operations.
