Role Summary

As a Site Reliability & Custom Software Engineer (CL9), you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing scalable custom software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams using modern frameworks and Agile practices to drive high-performing, resilient systems, optimize infrastructure, and lead incident response across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Act as an SME and lead technical decision-making across immediate and cross-functional teams.
System Reliability & Development: Design, code, test, and enhance custom software components while ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
Incident & Infrastructure Management: Oversee system monitoring, architecture scalability, capacity planning, and proactive incident response.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor team members, facilitate cross-team communication, and foster technical growth within the squad.
Process Optimization: Evaluate and continuously improve engineering practices, operational efficiency, and delivery quality.

Professional & Technical Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Core Skill: Expert proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering practices.
Infrastructure & Automation: Hands-on experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline deployment and operations.
Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Performance & Reliability: Strong expertise in performance tuning, capacity forecasting, and system architecture optimization.
Monitoring & Incident Response: Demonstrated capability in configuring observability stacks and resolving complex multi-system incidents.
