Job Description :

We are looking for a Strategic Growth Initiatives Counsel Associate Manager to support AI & Data business initiatives within a global technology environment. The role will provide product counsel support for new AI, Data, and software offerings, assess legal and regulatory considerations, support go-to-market activities, and collaborate with legal and business teams across different functions. The position will also support AI & Data-related transactions, acquisition evaluations, contracting activities, legal research, and the development of processes, tools, playbooks, and guidance materials.

Key Responsibilities :

Support AI & Data business teams by assessing new service and product offerings and providing product counsel as offerings are prepared for go-to-market.
Develop subject-matter expertise in AI & Data and collaborate with Legal, Resale, Strategic Partnering, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, Regulatory, and Contracting teams.
Support Contracting teams as a product counsel and subject-matter expert on playbooks, templates, contract structures, and occasional deal support.
Support Ventures & Acquisitions legal and business teams in evaluating prospective AI & Data acquisition targets and assist with relevant legal research.
Support the development and improvement of processes, tools, efficiency initiatives, workplans, PowerPoint presentations, and legal guidance materials while monitoring emerging AI and technology regulations.

Required Skills :

Relevant experience in AI, software, technology, and non-transactional legal work.
Strong knowledge of SaaS, software licensing, AI-related contracts, and technology-related legal matters.
Ability to understand and apply legal and regulatory requirements related to AI & Data and emerging technologies.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and commercial skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Excellent English communication, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills with the ability to work with global and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications :

Graduate Law degree (JD) and admission in good standing with the applicable bar association or local equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm environment.
Experience advising on software, ideally including Artificial Intelligence.
Relevant experience with AI, software, and non-transactional legal work is required.
Knowledge of SaaS, Software Licensing, and AI-related contract structures.
Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, with willingness to learn emerging AI & Data regulations.
Ability to work with US time zones.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Shifting schedule and ability to work with US time zones required.
Candidates must currently be in the Philippines and have the legal right to live and work there.
