Non-Negotiable Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application integration, ETL/ELT development, or middleware technologies.
Talend Expertise: Proven experience developing and supporting Talend integration solutions, specifically with Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud platforms.
Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Java, SQL / PL-SQL, and scripting technologies.
Stability: Proven job stability (no pattern of frequent job-hopping).
Exclusions: Must not be a current or former employee of CGI.

Position Description

As a Talend Support Consultant/Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise data integration solutions while providing critical production support and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain Talend integration solutions, interfaces, and data workflows.
Project Delivery: Support the implementation and delivery of enterprise integration projects, translating business/technical requirements into scalable solutions.
Architecture & Design: Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation documentation; participate in project planning and estimation.
Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver seamless integration solutions.
Testing & Optimization: Perform unit, integration, and performance testing; monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration jobs and workflows.
Production Support & Governance: Provide application maintenance, incident investigation, and resolution; produce operational documentation; ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
