Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Disability Claims Specialist, you will:

Conduct comprehensive clinical case reviews for disability claims.
Evaluate medical records and supporting clinical documentation.
Assess eligibility for Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims.
Apply clinical judgment to support accurate claims decisions.
Collaborate with internal claims, medical, and operations teams.
Ensure compliance with client policies and healthcare regulations.
Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have:

Active PHRN (Philippine Registered Nurse) or USRN license.
Minimum 3 years of hospital bedside experience, preferably in Intensive Care (ICU/Critical Care).
At least 2 years of Clinical Disability Claims experience.
Experience handling Short-Term Disability (STD) and/or Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims.
Experience performing Clinical Case Reviews.
Experience in private or commercial insurance.
Strong analytical, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
Willing to work on a shifting schedule from home.

Hiring Requirements

Applicants must:

Have experience in private or commercial insurance.
