USRN Trainer – Assistant Manager Level

About the Role
Shape the next generation of clinical talent. As a USRN Trainer, you’ll lead the delivery of high-impact training programs for new and experienced nursing staff across multiple clinical accounts—Utilization Management, Case Management, Triage, Appeals, and more. This role blends your bedside expertise with a passion for adult learning, ensuring every nurse you coach is confident, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional U.S. healthcare support. Based in Makati with flexible onsite/hybrid arrangements, you’ll directly influence operational readiness, clinical quality, and the continuous growth of our healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery: Facilitate New Hire Training (NHT) and upskill sessions using instructor-led, virtual, or hybrid formats. Employ adult learning principles to build clinical competency and documentation excellence.
Curriculum Development: Design, review, and update training modules, assessments, case simulations, and reference materials to align with client guidelines, U.S. regulations (HIPAA), and industry standards. Partner with Operations, Quality, and Client teams to ensure content accuracy.
Trainee Evaluation & Coaching: Conduct knowledge checks, practical evaluations, and certifications. Provide constructive feedback, developmental coaching, and nesting support to ensure smooth transition to production.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous training records, attendance, and performance reports while upholding strict confidentiality and internal protocols.
Continuous Improvement: Identify learning gaps, facilitate refresher training, and contribute to audits, calibration sessions, and initiatives that elevate instructional quality and clinical accuracy.
What You’ll Bring
Non-Negotiables:
Active, unrestricted USRN license.
2–3 years of clinical bedside experience (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar).
At least 1 year as a USRN Trainer in a BPO or U.S. healthcare account (UM, CM, Triage, Appeals, Claims).
Solid knowledge of MCG/Milliman, InterQual, clinical guidelines, HIPAA, and U.S. medical terminology.
Excellent English communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Comfortable with onsite/hybrid/shifting schedules in Makati.
Preferred: Experience in instructional design or Learning & Development is a strong plus.
