Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage end-to-end AP operations, supervise team performance, ensure timely invoice and payment processing, and drive reporting, compliance and process improvements.

Top 5 Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, allocate work, monitor productivity, manage escalations and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.

2. Oversee vendor invoice processing, employee expense claims, payment runs, approvals and timely resolution of vendor disputes.

3. Manage AP compliance, internal controls, tax requirements, audit documentation and adherence to accounting policies.

4. Prepare AP ageing reports, payment forecasts, KPI dashboards and management reports using Excel and reporting tools.

5. Collaborate with Finance, IT, clients and internal stakeholders to improve AP workflows, optimise systems and implement process improvements.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–8 years of Accounts Payable experience.

• Minimum 1 year of officially documented Team Lead experience.

• Hands-on experience with Alteryx or Power BI.

• Proficiency in SAP Ariba and ServiceNow (SNOW).

• Strong AP reporting, analysis and team management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience in client management, vendor coordination and escalations.

• Strong understanding of AP compliance, payment processing and internal controls.

Educational Qualification

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).

B.Com, M.Com or a similar non-technical Finance/Accounting qualification.

Good to Have

• AP automation tools and process optimisation experience.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

Candidates must be comfortable working flexible shifts within the specified 11:00 AM–2:00 AM operating window.
