Delivery Manager – Payroll
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 7–10 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager – Payroll to lead end-to-end payroll operations within an HRO environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in US Payroll, payroll compliance, HRIS platforms, and client delivery management. This role is responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement while delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end payroll service delivery across global HRO programs.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and payroll governance frameworks.
Manage US payroll statutory compliance, including tax filing, reporting, and deductions.
Oversee the complete payroll lifecycle, including gross-to-net processing, reconciliations, and year-end activities.
Utilize HRIS platforms such as Oracle HRMS and SAP SuccessFactors for payroll processing and reporting.
Handle payroll escalations, resolve complex payroll issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Drive automation, transformation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through governance meetings and service reviews.
Ensure payroll accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams for seamless payroll operations.
Qualifications
Graduate or Postgraduate in HR, Finance, or a related discipline.
Payroll certifications such as CPP or FPC are preferred.
Required Experience
7–10 years of relevant experience in Payroll Operations, HRO Delivery, or Payroll Service Management.
Strong experience in US Payroll Processing and statutory compliance.
Experience managing payroll delivery and client operations at scale.
Hands-on experience with payroll governance, reporting, and service delivery.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Payroll Operations and HR processes.
In-depth knowledge of US payroll regulations, taxation, and compliance.
Experience with Oracle HRMS (Payroll & HR Modules).
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central & Payroll).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent stakeholder, client, and team management skills.
Experience driving automation and process improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership, ownership, and delivery management capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
