Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Direct Sourcing Lead / Assistant Manager / Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for direct materials, components, and supplier partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and category management, ensuring cost optimization, supply continuity, quality, and procurement compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct materials aligned with business objectives.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, onboard, and manage supplier relationships.
Lead commercial negotiations involving pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times, and service levels.
Manage RFx processes, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and contract governance.
Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other stakeholders to support business requirements.
Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, supplier performance, and supply risks to ensure business continuity.
Drive cost savings, value engineering initiatives, supplier optimization, and working capital improvements.
Develop supplier scorecards, conduct business reviews, and monitor corrective action plans.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
Mentor team members and support process standardization, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a related discipline.
MBA or Procurement Certification is preferred.
8–15 years of experience in Direct Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supply Chain.
Strong experience in supplier negotiations and manufacturing or operations-related sourcing.
