Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced German Language Processor Lead (HRO + German) with 8–10 years of experience in HR Shared Services to lead end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) operations for global clients. The role is responsible for leading German-language HR operations, managing complex employee lifecycle processes, driving service excellence, mentoring teams, and collaborating with global HR stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
A. HR Operations & Service Delivery Leadership
Lead Tier-1 and Tier-2 HR support for German-speaking employees across multiple regions.
Manage HR inquiries related to Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
Ensure timely resolution of HR tickets while meeting SLA, TAT, and quality targets.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex HR cases and critical employee issues.
Provide guidance and support to HR Operations team members.

B. Hire-to-Retire (H2R) Operations
Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including:
Onboarding and pre-employment documentation
Employee data management
Job changes, transfers, promotions, and organizational updates
Leave administration
Offboarding and exit management
Ensure accurate processing of Workday HCM transactions and compliance with established HR policies.

C. Learning & Development Operations
Lead learning administration activities across global business units.
Coordinate with vendors, business stakeholders, and learning teams for training events and learning programs.
Monitor training completion, learning records, and learning management processes.
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement within Learning Operations.

D. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Mentor, coach, and support HR Operations associates.
Conduct quality reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and process trainings.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Global HR teams.
Participate in governance meetings and client reviews.

E. Data Governance & Compliance
Ensure employee data accuracy and integrity across HR systems.
Maintain compliance with GDPR, company policies, and data privacy regulations.
Monitor operational metrics, dashboards, productivity, and quality reports.
Support internal and external audits.

F. Continuous Improvement
Identify process improvement opportunities and automation initiatives.
Participate in transition projects, process documentation, and knowledge management.
Drive operational excellence through Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or Global Business Services.
Fluency in German (B2/C1 or higher) and strong English communication skills.
Strong experience in end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes.
Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS platforms.
Experience supporting global or multinational clients.
Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Behavioral Skills
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Preferred Skills
Experience leading HR Operations or HRO teams.
Exposure to Payroll Operations, Benefits Administration, Recruiting Operations, and Learning Operations.
Knowledge of HR service delivery frameworks and Shared Services best practices.
Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification is an advantage.
Workday HCM certification and/or Goethe German certification preferred.
