Job Description : 

We are looking for experienced German Payroll Specialists, German Payroll Analysts, and Payroll Processing Professionals with strong German language proficiency and hands-on experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, and HRIS systems.

The role involves end-to-end German payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, validating payroll inputs, calculating wages and statutory deductions, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with German tax laws, social security regulations, collective agreements (Tarifverträge), wage types, and statutory benefits.

Candidates with experience using SAP, ADP, Workday, Paychex, Deel, or similar payroll and HRIS platforms are encouraged to apply. Exposure to multi-country payroll operations across the US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, Malaysia, UAE, or Saudi Arabia will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process end-to-end German payroll for hourly and salaried employees according to client payroll calendars and processing schedules.

2. Review and validate employee timekeeping records, payroll inputs, salary changes, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory tax calculations.

3. Ensure compliance with German payroll regulations, income tax laws, social security requirements, collective agreements, wage types, and statutory benefits.

4. Maintain accurate payroll records, employee information, and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.

5. Respond to employee payroll queries, investigate discrepancies, resolve payroll issues, and coordinate with HR teams regarding new hires, terminations, benefits, and employee changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, HR operations, or HRIS-supported payroll functions.

• Hands-on payroll processing experience using SAP, ADP, Workday, Paychex, Deel, or similar payroll systems.

• Fluency in German with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good understanding of German tax laws, social security regulations, collective agreements (Tarifverträge), wage types, and statutory benefits.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage strict payroll deadlines.

• High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and employee data handling.

Good to Have

• Multi-country payroll exposure across the US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, or other international locations.

• Experience with HRIS platforms and international payroll administration.

• Knowledge of payroll reconciliation, employee lifecycle changes, and payroll compliance reporting.
