Shift: Night Shift (Rotational)
Shift Timings: 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM & 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

About the Role

We are hiring an Italian Language Procurement Operations Specialist to support global procurement operations by providing language expertise while ensuring compliance with procurement processes, client requirements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role is ideal for professionals with Italian language skills and experience in Procurement, Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Supply Chain, or Purchase Order processing who are looking to build a career in a global procurement environment.

Key Responsibilities

Italian Language Support

Read, understand, interpret, and communicate business information in Italian.
Support procurement-related communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in client calls and business discussions with Italian-speaking teams.
Ensure accurate interpretation of procurement requests and documentation.

Procurement Operations

Process Purchase Requisition (PR) and Shopping Cart (SC) requests.
Perform validation and due diligence before Purchase Order (PO) creation.
Support end-to-end procurement operations while ensuring SLA compliance.
Monitor open procurement requests and ensure timely completion.

Supply Chain Support

Apply knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
Handle procurement-related customer and vendor queries.
Follow up on pending requests and unresolved issues.
Escalate critical cases as per defined escalation matrix.

Quality & Process Excellence

Ensure accuracy, productivity, and quality across all transactions.
Perform peer quality checks to minimize processing errors.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Maintain compliance with internal TCS policies and client guidelines.

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with internal teams and business stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Client teams.
Participate in weekly business reviews and operational meetings.

Mandatory Skills

Italian Language Proficiency (Reading, Writing & Communication)

2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following:

Procurement Operations
Purchase-to-Pay (P2P)
Supply Chain Operations
Procurement Support
Shared Services Operations

Good understanding of:

Purchase Requisitions (PR)
Shopping Cart (SC)
Purchase Order (PO) Processing
Procurement Compliance
SLA-driven operations

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to work in rotational night shifts
