Senior Associate – France Accounting
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 4–5 Years
Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Associate – France Accounting with strong experience in France Accounting processes and core finance operations. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, month-end closing, and French accounting standards.
Knowledge of the French language is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end France Accounting and finance operations.
Handle journal entries, General Ledger activities, and account reconciliations.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within defined timelines.
Process and review invoices, payments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
Support financial reporting and audit requirements.
Analyze accounting data and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance teams for issue resolution.
Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Contribute to continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong experience in France Accounting processes.
4–5 years of relevant accounting and finance operations experience.
Good understanding of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and reconciliations.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
French language proficiency is an added advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Candidates with France Accounting exposure will be preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in shared services/BPO finance operations is preferred.
