Job Title: Talent Consultation Analyst

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 5–8 Years

Band: BPO 2/3

Salary: Up to 9 LPA

Shift: US Shift

About the Role

TCS is looking for experienced HR professionals to join the Talent Consultation team. This role involves end-to-end ownership of HR disciplinary case management, policy guidance, employee relations support, and stakeholder consultation within a US HR environment. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills with experience handling complex employee relations and disciplinary matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of HR disciplinary cases from initiation to resolution.

  • Handle cases related to attendance management, call avoidance, job abandonment, unauthorized settlements, and other employee relations matters.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HR best practices, and applicable legal requirements.

  • Provide guidance and consultation to managers regarding disciplinary actions and HR policies.

  • Interpret and apply HR policies consistently and fairly across cases.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all disciplinary cases.

  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and stakeholders throughout the case management process.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and trend analysis related to disciplinary cases.

  • Provide empathetic support and guidance to employees during disciplinary proceedings.

  • Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to resolve complex employee relations issues.

  • Collaborate with HR teams and business stakeholders to improve HR processes and service delivery.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within HR Operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Talent Consulting, or HR Case Management.

  • Experience managing disciplinary cases within a US HR environment.

  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently and prioritize effectively.

  • Familiarity with US labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Comfortable handling client and employee calls as part of the role.

Preferred Skills

  • Postgraduate qualification in HR or a related field.

  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.

  • High level of empathy, emotional intelligence, and active listening skills.

  • Experience working in a shared services or global HR environment.

  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.

Work Environment

  • Office-based role with potential flexibility based on business requirements.

  • Candidates should be comfortable working in US shifts.
