About the Role
Put your procurement expertise to work where every deal counts. As a Procurement Team Member, you’ll handle everything from processing purchase requisitions to running spot‑buy RFQs, always with an eye on speed, cost, and quality. You’ll support both direct and indirect material buys, resolve supplier queries through our helpdesk, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to keep operations running without interruption. This isn’t just a transactional role—you’ll analyse quotations, recommend smarter sourcing solutions, and play a hands‑on part in improving how we buy. What You’ll Do

Own End‑to‑End Transactions: Manage the entire PR‑to‑PO lifecycle—processing purchase requisitions, creating and amending POs, sending confirmations, and expediting deliveries to meet commitments.

Drive Spot‑Buy Activities: Send RFQs and enquiries to suppliers, collect and evaluate quotations, conduct comparative bid analyses, and present sourcing recommendations that balance cost and value.

Resolve Queries & Support Users: Serve as a procurement helpdesk contact, tackling supplier and internal user questions swiftly and accurately. You’ll be the go‑to person when something needs fixing or clarifying.

Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to align on timelines, specifications, and priorities, ensuring every purchase lands on time.

Ensure Compliance & Data Integrity: Follow procurement policies and processes to the letter, and maintain spot‑on records and system data within ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle.

What You’ll Bring

Experience: 1 to 10 years in sourcing and transactional procurement, covering both direct and indirect materials. You’ve handled PR processing, PO creation/amendments, confirmations, expediting, and helpdesk support.

Spot‑Buy Acumen: Practical experience sending RFQs, collecting and evaluating quotes, and comparing bids to make clear, cost‑effective recommendations.

ERP Know‑How: Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement systems is essential.

Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal English skills; a customer‑centric mindset that helps you build positive relationships with suppliers and internal partners alike.

Analytical & Problem‑Solving: You’re comfortable running Excel‑based analyses, identifying issues, and proposing solutions that keep procurement moving.

Organisational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple activities, track orders, and follow through with a results‑oriented approach.

Preferred Extras: Experience spanning both sourcing and procurement operations, exposure to process improvement initiatives, and some project management capability will set you apart. An educational background in supply chain, business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
