Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled German Payroll Processing Specialist with experience in end-to-end payroll processing, payroll systems, and HRIS platforms. The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and have a good understanding of German payroll regulations, taxation, social security rules, collective agreements, wage types, and statutory benefits.

The candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately, maintaining employee records, resolving payroll-related queries, and ensuring compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees in accordance with client pay calendars and schedules.

• Manage and review end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payroll completion.

• Validate timekeeping records, payroll adjustments, employee changes, and other payroll inputs.

• Calculate and process wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, taxes, and statutory benefits.

• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with German tax laws, social security regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.

• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation.

• Handle employee payroll and HR-related queries, resolving discrepancies within defined timelines.

• Coordinate with HR teams regarding new hires, terminations, benefits, and employee data updates.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee and payroll information.

• Ensure payroll activities are completed within deadlines and in accordance with established procedures.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing, payroll systems, or HRIS platforms.

• Fluency in the German language is mandatory.

• Good understanding of German payroll taxation and tax laws.

• Knowledge of German social security rules and statutory requirements.

• Understanding of collective agreements (Tarifverträge), wage types, and statutory benefits.

• Hands-on experience with payroll systems or HRIS platforms such as ADP, Paychex, Deel, SAP, Workday, or similar.

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, validation, and reconciliation.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Good to Have

• Exposure to multi-country payroll processing.

• Experience supporting payroll operations for countries such as the US, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Malaysia, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

• Knowledge of multiple payroll systems and HRIS platforms.

Shift Details

• Fixed shift: 3:00 PM IST to 1:00 AM IST.

• Location: Bangalore.
