Work Setup: Permanent Work From Home

Location: Malaysia (Remote)
Shift: Permanent Night Shift (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract + 12-month renewable contract

Job Summary

We are looking for Mandarin/Cantonese and English-speaking Interpretation Support Associates to join a healthcare interpretation project.

In this role, you will provide real-time over-the-phone consecutive interpretation between healthcare professionals and Cantonese-speaking patients in the United States. You will help facilitate clear and accurate communication while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and neutrality during every interaction.

This opportunity is ideal for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals with excellent language skills who are comfortable working night shifts from home.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate, meaning-for-meaning consecutive interpretation between Cantonese and English speakers over the phone.
Interpret conversations involving doctors, healthcare professionals, and patients.
Maintain complete accuracy without adding, omitting, or changing the speaker's message.
Use first-person interpretation to ensure natural communication.
Support healthcare-related conversations, including medical consultations, insurance, finance, emergency situations, and patient enquiries.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all interpreter protocols and company policies.
Remain neutral and professional during all interactions.
Participate in training, coaching sessions, quality reviews, and performance improvement activities.
Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining excellent attendance and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

High School Graduate, SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree.
Fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken, written, and comprehension).
Comfortable working permanent night shifts.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable home working environment.
Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
