Job Title : Machine Operator (Bend – CNC Press Brake)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator – Bend (CNC Press Brake) with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience operating CNC Press Brake machines within the metal fabrication industry. The candidate should be able to perform machine setup, interpret mechanical drawings, verify finished components using precision measuring instruments, and ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines to produce precision parts.
Perform bending operations according to required specifications and production requirements.
Verify finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
Ensure finished components conform to specified tolerances and quality requirements.
Perform operational activities related to bending machines.
Effectively change machine setups based on different product lines and material requirements.
Liaise with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure smooth flow of materials and components.
Maintain and improve housekeeping standards in the work area.
Support training activities whenever required.
Follow all applicable health and safety procedures.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of direct experience operating CNC Press Brake machines.
Experience in the Metal Fabrication Industry is required.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering-specified tolerances.
Ability to read and understand Mechanical Engineering Drawings / Blueprints.
Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and bending operations.
Ability to handle multiple machine setups for different product lines and material requirements.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
Minimum Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Physically fit to perform the required duties.
Independent self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong team player who can work effectively with employees at different levels.

Salary & Allowances

Gross Salary: RM 2,000 – RM 2,400/month, including allowance
Transport Allowance: RM 100 – RM 125/month
Attendance Allowance: RM 75/month

Working Hours

Initial Schedule: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Later Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts:

Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
