Job Summary
We are looking for a Capital Markets Operations – Asset Management Senior Analyst to support the Corporate Actions function for Global Markets.
The role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, safeguarding client assets, minimizing Assets at Risk, and supporting risk and control objectives within a fast-paced trading and investment banking operations environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process mandatory and voluntary corporate action events accurately across key market dates, including announcement, ex-date, record date, election, and payment.
Reconcile corporate action events and ensure timely and accurate client entitlements and payments.
Monitor, investigate, and resolve daily breaks and fails related to corporate actions and custody operations.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for corporate actions processes, market practices, and asset servicing workflows.
Manage and support requirements of high-demand Prime Brokerage and institutional clients.
Liaise with Front Office, Middle Office, Trade Support, Oversight teams, custodians, agents, and counterparties.
Monitor system exception queues and ensure all corporate action-related items are reviewed, actioned, and cleared daily.
Review and update procedure documents.
Participate in UAT and system enhancement activities.
Provide support for audit, risk, and control reviews.
Ensure compliance with established trade and settlement deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline relevant to trading and financial markets.
Minimum 1 year of proven experience handling mandatory and voluntary corporate action events within a trading or investment banking operations environment is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in end-to-end corporate actions processing, including:
Entitlement calculation
Event lifecycle management
Stakeholder coordination
Trade / settlements operations
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with Front Office, Middle Office, custodians, and external counterparties.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
Ability to consistently meet trade and settlement deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to investigate breaks, exceptions, and complex corporate action scenarios.
Strong teamwork, ownership, commitment, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced trading environment.
Work Requirements
Must be willing to work fully onsite in BGC, Taguig.
Must be amenable to a night shift schedule.
Must already have the right to live and work in the Philippines.
