• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark within Databricks.

• Build and manage batch and streaming data workflows.

• Implement ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into curated datasets.

• Optimize SQL queries for speed and efficiency.

• Design and implement Snowflake schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables.

• Implement data access controls and permissions using Unity Catalog.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

• Expert proficiency in Databricks.

• Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and implementation.

• Experience with data integration, transformation, and ETL/ELT techniques.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience with SQL query optimization and dimensional data modeling.

• Knowledge of Unity Catalog, data governance, and access management.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to optimize data workflows for scalability, performance, and reliability.
