Job Description – Firewall Specialist

Job Title: Firewall Specialist
Location: Quezon City, Philippines
Work Setup: Hybrid (2 Days Work From Home | 3 Days Work From Office)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Specialist with strong expertise in enterprise network security, firewall administration, and network infrastructure migration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fortigate, Cisco ASA, and Cisco networking technologies, along with a proven track record in firewall policy management, network delivery, and migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute firewall application migration projects.
Configure, deploy, and manage firewall policies.
Support network infrastructure migration and application traffic through secured firewall environments.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for project delivery.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and operational procedures.
Prepare technical documentation, perform knowledge transfer, and hand over completed projects to the operations team.
Troubleshoot network security and firewall-related issues.
Support network delivery initiatives and maintain project timelines.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Firewall Specialist or Network Security Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Fortigate Firewalls
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Cisco Routers and Switches
Experience in firewall migration, implementation, and network security projects.
Knowledge of SD-WAN is an advantage.
Technical certifications in Networking Technologies (Routing & Switching, Firewalls) are preferred.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
