Job Title: Malware Engineer Specialist / Team Lead – CL 9
Work Setup: Onsite – Uptown BGC, Taguig
Work Schedule: Shifting

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Malware Engineers with strong expertise in malware analysis, reverse engineering, incident response, and threat hunting. The role will involve analyzing malicious software, supporting security investigations, developing detection capabilities, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and reverse engineer malware to understand threat behavior, capabilities, and impact.
Perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
Develop actionable threat intelligence based on malware analysis findings.
Support incident response investigations involving malware-related incidents.
Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Intelligence teams.
Develop and maintain detection rules, signatures, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
Conduct threat hunting and identify malicious activities and attack patterns.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Partner with security stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity defenses.
Document technical findings and communicate complex security issues clearly.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Malware Analysis, Malware Engineering, or Reverse Engineering.
Strong understanding of malware behavior, attack techniques, and threat actor methodologies.
Good knowledge of Windows/Linux internals and operating systems.
Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- IDA Pro
- Ghidra
- x64dbg
- OllyDbg
- Malware sandbox environments
Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and incident response.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings.
Willing to work onsite daily at Uptown BGC, Taguig.
Amenable to shifting schedules.
