Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AML Regulatory Compliance Associate Manager to lead a team of KYC/AML analysts and ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant delivery of KYC and financial crime operations. The role will be responsible for team performance, operational KPIs, quality, productivity, regulatory compliance, coaching, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of KYC analysts and oversee SLA, quality, productivity, and adherence metrics.

• Allocate work, manage queues, and rebalance team capacity to meet daily and weekly volume targets.

• Conduct first-line review and approval of complex and high-risk KYC/AML cases requiring team-lead approval.

• Conduct daily team huddles and weekly 1:1 sessions.

• Coach analysts using performance scorecards, QC feedback, and identified knowledge gaps.

• Drive new-hire ramp-up and monitor performance tiers, taking early action for underperforming employees.

• Partner with Quality Control teams to identify and resolve defect trends through coaching, retraining, or escalation.

• Monitor attendance, shrinkage, and schedule adherence while maintaining proper documentation.

• Identify and manage attrition risks through employee engagement, recognition, and proactive interventions.

• Escalate operational risks such as volume spikes, system/tool outages, SOP ambiguities, and capacity constraints.

• Provide accurate pod-level performance updates, root-cause analysis, and commentary for Weekly Business Reviews (WBR).

• Support onboarding of new hires and work closely with Training teams to address knowledge gaps during the ramp-up period.

• Ensure team processes consistently comply with applicable KYC, AML, CDD, EDD, sanctions, and financial crime compliance requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant KYC/AML experience.

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or people management experience.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • KYC (Know Your Customer)

  • AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

  • CDD (Customer Due Diligence)

  • EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence)

  • Sanctions Screening

  • Financial Crime Compliance

• Proven experience managing teams and operational performance.

• Strong understanding of SLA, quality, productivity, adherence, and KPI management.

• Experience handling complex or high-risk KYC/AML cases.

• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• Candidates must be amenable to onsite/hybrid work and shifting/night-shift schedules.
