Custom Software Engineer

Work Setup: Onsite – Manila
Work Shift: Shifting / Night Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer with strong experience in IBM Db2 and Natural to develop, enhance and maintain custom software solutions. The role will involve working with multiple teams, applying modern development practices and delivering scalable, high-performing solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as an SME and provide technical guidance to the team.
Design, code and enhance software components and applications.
Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Identify process improvements and implement development best practices.
Participate in project planning, estimation and delivery activities.

Required Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Db2
Expert proficiency in IBM Db2
Strong proficiency in Natural
Strong knowledge of database design and optimization
Experience with SQL and performance tuning
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
