A Customer Service is expected to:
TELEMARKETING
- Working on various telemarketing campaigns and calling prospective students
- Contact individuals/businesses by telephone to promote programs
- Explain programs and eligibility requirements to potential clients nationally
- Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customers
- Provide pricing details (where prospective participant does not meet eligibility requirements)
- Handle customer questions
- Obtain customer information including names and addresses
SALES
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone, email, sending marketing material and information as required
- Deliver accurate and compliant information, regarding courses and eligibility
- Ensure all students' registration-funded training meets the eligibility requirements and is compliant and error free
- Adjust sales script to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals
- Overcoming objections by promoting the advantages of the program and its courses
- Maintain professional, positive and productive relationships with internal and external associates and clients
What it takes to be part of our team:
- Tertiary qualification in education and/or business management /marketing/sales
- 3 years above Customer Service experience handling International Accounts
- Experience working as an SME or Team Leader is an advantage
- Strong relationship-building skills with major customers, clients and government agencies
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and consultation skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs
