Data Science - Assistant Manager

Work Set-up:Hybrid (at least twice a week on-site)

Work Shift: Night shift

Location: EDSA Greenfield, Mandaluyong

Salary: 50k-55k

*Description / Requirements

*Qualifications:*

- Data Scientist with expertise in data modeling and predictive analytics (not Data Analyst or Data Visualization Specialist)

- Proficiency in Python for Machine Learning and Data Modeling (Predictive Modeling)

- Background in automation

*Responsibilities:*

*Quantitative Modeling:*

- Apply data analysis, mining, and processing to present data clearly.

- Utilize data mining techniques and software development to investigate leads and identify patterns.

- Develop data models using advanced statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning methods.

*Business Problem Framing:*

- Manage problem definition and hypothesis formulation.

- Assist in conceptualizing analytical projects and breaking down problems for solvability.

- Partner with stakeholders to translate business problems into data science projects.

Analytics Problem Framing:

- Plan the development of analytical solutions from initial design through implementation.

- Provide advice on data analysis models based on project requirements.

- Maintain advanced knowledge of industry trends.

*Insights Generation:*

- Develop actionable recommendations and evaluate experiment outcomes.

- Guide stakeholders on acting on findings and synthesize insights into presentations.

- Assist with storytelling of research and/or analytics findings.

*Project Management:*

- Assist in planning project timelines, resources, and setting work quality guidelines.

- Deliver projects within time, quality, and budget constraints.

- Prepare documentation outlining data sources, models, and algorithms used.

**Information Systems Implementation:**

- Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for selected solutions.

- Implement automated processes for quantitative models at scale.

- Collaborate with the development team to build tools for data visualization and advanced analytics.

**Data Collection:**

- Recommend data types and sources needed to measure and predict outcomes.

- Integrate multiple data sets to build complex data sets.

**Data Processing:**

- Build data flow channels and processing systems for data extraction, transformation, and integration.

**Data Governance:**

- Validate data sources, methods of preparation, and quality.
