Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Observability and Event Management Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise monitoring and observability solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, Azure Monitoring, AIOps, DevOps, automation, and application performance management. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build scalable, proactive monitoring solutions that improve operational efficiency and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management solutions.
Design and implement alert integration into ServiceNow ITOM and AIOps platforms.
Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams across Event Management, Azure Monitor, Function Apps, AppDynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, and other monitoring technologies.
Develop and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability standards.
Design monitoring solutions for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
Gather business requirements and deliver scalable, cost-effective monitoring solutions.
Plan and execute software upgrades, automation initiatives, and monitoring enhancements.
Drive innovation through Proof of Concepts (POCs) and automation strategies.
Analyze complex application and infrastructure issues and recommend effective solutions.
Ensure monitoring solutions align with ITSM processes, security standards, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT monitoring, observability, or related technical roles.
3+ years of experience in an IT Architecture role with expertise in monitoring and Application Performance Management (APM).
Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, Event Management, and AIOps implementation.
Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Telemetry, and Application Performance Monitoring.
Experience with Azure cloud services.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and PowerShell.
Strong programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
Understanding of DevOps practices and automation frameworks.
Knowledge of proactive monitoring using telemetry and synthetic transactions.
Good understanding of WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI, and network security concepts.
Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
