Job Title : QA Automation Developer (Playwright) & Performance Tester (JMeter)
Location: Taguig, Philippines
Work Setup: Hybrid
Work Shift: Mid Shift & Night Shift
Experience: 4–8+ Years
Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and Apache JMeter to design, build, and scale automated testing frameworks and performance testing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation, hands-on expertise in building Playwright E2E frameworks, and proven ability to develop sophisticated JMeter performance test scripts. Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python are required.
Key Responsibilities
Build and scale E2E automation frameworks using Playwright, applying modern locators, auto-waiting, async/await, and Page Object Model (POM) practices.
Design and execute performance tests using Apache JMeter, including parameterization, assertions, correlation, and distributed testing.
Manage end-to-end testing cycles, analyze user stories, assess technical feasibility, and ensure effective test coverage.
Identify, document, and track system defects, collaborating with development and technical teams to support timely resolution.
Analyze load behavior and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and provide insights for system and infrastructure improvements.

Qualification
4–8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Test Automation.
Proven hands-on experience building E2E testing frameworks using Playwright.
Strong understanding of Playwright locators, auto-waiting, async/await, and POM.
Extensive experience creating and executing Apache JMeter performance test scripts.
Strong knowledge of JMeter parameterization, assertions, distributed testing, and dynamic value correlation.
Strong programming proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python and Shell Scripting.
Experience with test cycle management, user story analysis, defect tracking, and performance analysis.
Important Notes
Hybrid work setup in Taguig.
Candidates must be amenable to Mid Shift or Night Shift schedules.
