Senior Data Engineer | Manila/Taguig | Onsite

Role: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Manila / Taguig, Philippines
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Shift: Shifting

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in building batch and real-time data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and optimizing large-scale data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and deployment.
Build and optimize batch and streaming data solutions using GCP technologies.
Develop ETL/ELT processes and ensure high data quality and reliability.
Optimize SQL queries and manage complex data transformations.
Orchestrate workflows and troubleshoot high-volume data processing issues.
Monitor data pipelines and implement logging, alerting, and debugging best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficient data solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
Working knowledge of Cloud Spanner is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or Java.
Experience with batch and real-time data processing, ETL/ELT, and file formats such as Avro, Parquet, JSON, and CSV.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and GCP security best practices is a plus.
