Job Title : Senior Data Scientist

Location: ADB Office, Ortigas, Pasig
Work Setup: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Shift: Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Manila Time
Experience: 5+ Years

Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, Generative AI, data engineering, and data visualization. The role will focus on developing data-driven solutions, building scalable data pipelines, generating actionable insights, and creating interactive dashboards to support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives, translate complex data into meaningful insights, and contribute to AI and data science initiatives within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning & Generative AI
Design and develop machine learning models and Generative AI applications to solve business problems and deliver data-driven solutions.
Data Analysis & Statistical Modeling
Perform advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, generate insights, and support informed business decisions.
Data Engineering & ETL
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes while ensuring data quality, integrity, validation, and reliability.
Data Visualization & Reporting
Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and other appropriate visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Data Innovation
Work with business stakeholders and senior executives to understand data requirements, communicate findings through effective storytelling, and stay current with emerging data science, AI, and visualization technologies.

Required Skills

Python & SQL – Strong programming and database querying capabilities for data analysis, modeling, and data processing.
Machine Learning & Statistical Modeling – Hands-on experience developing machine learning models and applying statistical techniques to real-world business problems.
Generative AI – Experience working with Generative AI technologies and developing AI-driven applications or solutions.
Data Engineering & ETL Development – Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks.
Power BI, Azure & Data Visualization – Strong experience with Power BI, data visualization, and cloud-based data ecosystems such as Microsoft Azure.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree or certifications in Machine Learning or AI is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science or related roles.
Experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and Generative AI.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and data visualization.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills.
Experience working in Agile teams and cross-functional environments.
Ability to work effectively with senior executives and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Hybrid setup requires 3 days onsite per week in Ortigas, Pasig.
Work schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Manila Time.
Candidates must have 5+ years of Data Science experience.
Strong experience in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Generative AI is required.
