THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Strategic Growth Counsel Associate Manager for AI and Data Legal to join a leading Global Tech Company in Mandaluyong. This role sits at the intersection of law, AI, and innovation - ideal for legal professionals passionate about emerging technologies.

Open to candidates currently based in the Philippines with the right to live and work in the country.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Serve as product counsel for the AI and Data business, assessing new services and product offerings before they go to market

Become the go-to subject matter expert in AI and Data for business and asset teams

Partner closely with cross-functional legal teams including Resale, Strategic Partnering, IP, Data Privacy, Regulatory, and Contracting

Advise the Contracting team on playbooks, templates, and deal support from a product counsel lens

Collaborate with Ventures and Acquisitions teams to evaluate potential AI and Data acquisition targets

Conduct legal research and stay ahead of emerging regulations and trends in LLMs, generative and agentic AI

Help build and improve processes, tools, and enablement materials including decks, workplans, and guidance documents

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to brief senior leadership effectively

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate Law degree (JD) and active admission to the Bar in good standing

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate setting, ideally advising on software and AI

Solid background in AI, software, and non-transactional legal work

Familiarity with SaaS, Software Licensing, and AI-related contract structures

Understanding of, or keen interest to learn, regulatory landscapes for AI and Data

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

Willing and able to work across US time zones

Fluent in English, strong in both written and verbal communication

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
