Training Specialist – Clinical Programs

Job Overview

Deliver high-impact clinical training that equips licensed clinicians to excel in US managed care operations. Build clinical competency, strengthen quality, and support continuous learning across clinical teams.


Key Responsibilities

Facilitate onboarding, pre-production, and continuing education (CE) training for clinical staff


Deliver training modules on Utilization Management (UM), Utilization Review (UR), Case Management (CM) workflows, clinical documentation, HIPAA/PHI compliance, and clinical protocols


Conduct skills validations, case simulations, and competency assessments


Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and workflow guides


Maintain accurate, audit-ready training records and competency files


Collaborate with Operations, Quality Assurance (QA), and Talent Acquisition (TA) to address performance gaps and support training pipeline needs


Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required


Active Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) license – required


Active, unrestricted USRN license; NCLEX must be passed – required


At least 3 years of clinical experience – required


At least 1–2 years of clinical training, education, or facilitation experience – required


Strong understanding of US managed care, Utilization Management (UM), Utilization Review (UR), and HIPAA/PHI compliance – required


Excellent facilitation, communication, and clinical documentation skills


Willing to work onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City, on a US day shift


Preferred: Healthcare BPO training experience


Preferred: Experience supporting UR/UM operations


Preferred: Exposure to URAC/NCQA standards or clinical documentation platforms


Preferred: Currently working as a Clinical Trainer or Apprentice Trainer, with relevant clinical training experience


USRN License Validity: The license must be active. Candidates whose licenses are nearing expiration must be willing to renew it.
