We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building batch and real-time data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and working with modern cloud data technologies to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and migration.
Develop solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
Process and manage structured and semi-structured data using formats such as Avro, Parquet, JSON, and CSV.
Optimize SQL queries and improve data processing performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data pipelines using GCP monitoring and logging tools.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across the data platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure data architectures.
Implement best practices for automation, governance, and cloud-based data engineering.

Work Set-up: Onsite – Manila/Taguig
Start Date: ASAP

Eligibility Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
Experience building batch and real-time/streaming data pipelines.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or Java.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and cloud-based data engineering.
Experience with Cloud Spanner, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer certification is an advantage.
Knowledge of IAM, KMS, DLP, and GCP security best practices is a plus.
Must be currently residing in the Philippines with the legal right to work.
Must share updated CV reflecting all Eligibility Requirements.
