About the Role

Are you passionate about building efficient data pipelines and transforming complex data into valuable insights? We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Databricks to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions.

In this role, you will work with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark within Databricks.

• Build batch and streaming data workflows.

• Implement ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into curated datasets.

• Optimize queries for speed and efficiency.

• Design Snowflake schemas and create fact and dimension tables.

• Implement data access controls and permissions using Unity Catalog.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Document data processes, workflows, and technical solutions.

• Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Stay updated on data engineering trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

• Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and implementation.

• Experience with data integration, transformation, and ETL/ELT processes.

• Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed computing.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.

• Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues efficiently.

• Strong understanding of data workflow optimization, scalability, and performance.

• Willingness to work onsite in Manila on a shifting schedule.

Recruitment Process
