Security Engineer (SIEM & SOAR) | Associate Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Engineer (SIEM & SOAR) | Associate Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise security engineering solutions. This role will drive SIEM and SOAR capabilities, security automation, detection engineering, and security operations transformation while leading cybersecurity engineering teams and managing client-facing delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Security Engineering Leadership

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale SIEM and SOAR solutions.
Define security monitoring strategies, detection roadmaps, and automation initiatives.
Establish engineering standards, operational processes, and governance models.
Oversee integrations across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network security technologies.

Security Operations Transformation

Drive automation initiatives to improve detection coverage, response times, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with SOC leadership, threat hunting teams, and stakeholders to enhance security operations.
Identify emerging threats and recommend improvements to detection and response strategies.
Support audit, compliance, and risk management requirements.

People & Delivery Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity engineering teams.
Manage project delivery, staffing, stakeholder engagement, and client communications.
Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across multiple initiatives.
Build team capabilities through coaching, training, and career development.

Qualifications

5–8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
Strong hands-on experience in SIEM and/or SOAR engineering.
2–3 years of people management, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
Proven experience delivering security engineering projects and client engagements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, QRadar, or ArcSight.
Experience leading security automation and SOAR programs.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS Controls, threat detection, and incident response.
Experience with cloud security, security architecture, and enterprise security operations.

Additional Requirements

Must be currently residing in the Philippines and have the legal right to live and work in the country.
Must not have an active application with the hiring company.
Former employees are not eligible for this role.
Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup in Cubao and on a shifting schedule.
