Role Summary
The Collections Manager – B2B will lead and develop a collections team to achieve cash flow objectives, reduce aging, and drive operational excellence while ensuring a positive customer experience and compliance with established processes.
The role requires flexibility to work US shifts and support global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day B2B collections operations and manage team performance against KPIs and SLAs
Drive portfolio reviews, aging reduction, and collection effectiveness initiatives
Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of collection activities and customer follow-ups
Conduct coaching, knowledge-sharing sessions, refresher training, and performance reviews
Mentor team members and support capability development
Handle customer escalations and coordinate with Billing, Disputes, Sales, and Cash Application teams for issue resolution
Perform root-cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement
Support governance reviews, reporting, and stakeholder management activities
Ensure adherence to operational controls, quality standards, SOPs, and process documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve collections performance and operational efficiency
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field – required
5–8 years of relevant experience, including manager-level/team management experience – required
Strong experience in B2B Collections and/or Accounts Receivable – required
Experience managing B2B Collections/AR teams – required
Strong exposure to AR processes and Order-to-Cash (O2C) – required
Experience in B2B, SaaS, Technology, or Shared Services environments – required
Proven experience handling customer escalations and cross-functional collaboration – required
Strong people management, analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
Experience supporting US customers and/or global operations is preferred
Knowledge of collections systems and ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms is preferred
Experience with Cash Application and Dispute Management is an advantage
