Job Title: SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead

Category: ERP / CRM / Enterprise Tools

Location: McKinley, Taguig

Work Setup: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week

Work Schedule: EMEA / Mid-Shift

Salary: PHP 120,000

Role Overview

As part of the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE), the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead will be responsible for leading and optimizing SAP MDG operations across the organization.

This role ensures high data quality, strong governance, and efficient master data processes for key data objects such as Business Partner, Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance Master Data. The MDG Lead will provide functional leadership, ensure cross-system data consistency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day SAP MDG operations, including issue resolution, enhancements, and process optimization

Manage and support master data objects (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance) to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align data governance processes with enterprise objectives

Ensure compliance with defined data standards, workflows, and approval policies

Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within MDG processes

Support integration and synchronization of master data across SAP and non-SAP systems

Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

Provide functional leadership and guidance to team members

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

8–10 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP MDG

2–3 years of experience leading SAP MDG projects or teams

Strong expertise in SAP MDG data models, workflows, and governance principles

Hands-on experience with Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance Master Data

Proven experience in both ECC and S/4HANA MDG environments

SAP consultancy experience in a client-facing role

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Familiarity with ITIL service management processes

Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Amenable to working onsite 3 days per week in McKinley, Taguig, on a mid-shift schedule

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Minimum 5 years of SAP MDG experience

Proven leadership experience (team or project)

Expertise in both ECC and S/4HANA MDG

SAP consultancy background

Willing to work onsite in Taguig on a mid-shift schedule
