JOB TITLE: Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor

LOCATION: McKinley, Taguig City, Metro Manila
WORK SETUP: Hybrid after Training (Training is fully onsite for 2–3 months)
WORK SHIFT: Night Shift
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
SALARY: PHP 65,000 Package
SIGNING BONUS: PHP 40,000
AVAILABILITY: ASAP

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex accounting functions, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and supporting budget and forecasting activities. This position offers a hybrid work setup after training and requires a night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and company policies
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances
Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation

Qualifications

College Graduate, Accounting course required (non-negotiable)
CPA preferred, but strong non-CPA candidates will be considered
At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience
Good communication skills
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Strong data manipulation skills for large data sets (non-negotiable)
Sound accounting knowledge (non-negotiable)
Hands-on experience with: journal entries, trial balance, balance sheet/P&L, contra asset accounts, general ledger management, account reconciliation, financial reporting, invoice preparation, accruals, and bank reconciliation (multi-currency preferred)
Experience supporting monthly/quarterly/annual close and financial analysis
Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables (non-negotiable)
Familiarity with zero bank balance processes
Willing to work onsite for training (2–3 months), then transition to hybrid on a night shift schedule
