Job Title: Fixed Assets Accounting – Team Lead
Job Description
The Fixed Assets Accounting – Team Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, strong financial controls, and delivery within defined SLAs and quality standards. The role will manage capitalization, depreciation, disposals, lease accounting, month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and audit requirements.
The role will also involve team management, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, automation, standardization, and transformation initiatives across Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, lease recognition, remeasurement, and reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close activities.
Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements.
Support audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Deliver processes within defined SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
Drive process improvement, automation, transformation, and standardization initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the team while allocating work efficiently.
Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate updates, risks, and issues effectively.
Proactively identify and resolve process risks and operational issues.
Support transition/migration activities when required.
Maintain documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Education
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Finance & Accounting.
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent.
