Role Summary: Support execution of direct sourcing activities for materials and
components by managing sourcing events, supplier coordination, commercial analysis, and
operational follow-through to meet quality, service, and cost objectives.
Experience: 5–10 years in direct procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or category support
roles, with experience in supplier coordination and material planning interfaces.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business
Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute sourcing events for assigned direct categories, including supplier
outreach, bid analysis, and negotiation support.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements,
technical specifications, and service expectations.
Support supplier evaluation, onboarding documentation, and commercial
comparison processes.
Track purchase-related commitments, delivery schedules, and supply-side
issues to support continuity.
Maintain sourcing records, supplier data, contracts, and pricing
documentation in line with governance requirements.
Analyze spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance to identify savings or
improvement opportunities.
Participate in supplier review meetings and follow up on performance gaps,
action plans, and escalations.
Ensure sourcing execution complies with procurement policies, delegated
authority, and audit requirements.
Support process improvements across requisition, sourcing, and supplier
management workflows.
